This event is hosted by our partners at the American Lung Association.

As part of its Smokefree at Home project in partnership with the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, the American Lung Association is pleased to invite you to join us for an educational webcast focused on the successes and lessons learned from nine Mental Health America affiliates that were awarded mini-grants under the project. The mini-grantees worked with public housing authorities in their communities to help implement the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Developmentā€™s smokefree public housing rule with a focus on making the transition successful for the people Mental Health America serves. Each mini-grantee pursued different strategies under their mini-grants, and the Lung Association is excited to showcase the results. The webcast will also share some background about the Smokefree at Home project.

Webinar Learning Objectives:

  • Participants will hear from Mental Health America affiliates about:
    • The Smokefree at Home mini-grantee projects, including project outcomes, successes and lessons learned.
    • Recommendations on how to best support public housing residents with behavioral health conditions in their communities.
